Tossguide is not a city website. Every disposal fact is tied to an official page, and a missing fact stays missing.

Junk removal cost

Last verified: 2026-10-21

Junk removal prices are not a single number, and this site will not invent one. A city page prints a fee only when that city’s official page states it. If the city is silent, the fee line says “Not published by the city.”

What to do before you pay

  1. Open the city page for your item. The official rules, the appointment step, and any published fee are there, with the page they came from.
  2. Use the free city option when you are eligible. Paid links, when they exist, sit in their own block after the free options.
  3. If you still hire someone, ask whether they recycle mattresses where the state or city requires it, whether they serve your building, and what the written price includes. Get that price from the company. Tossguide does not publish a stand-in amount.

What the paid block is

The only affiliate links on a city page are in the paid-options block. Above that block the page says: “We earn a commission if you book through these links.” An Amazon link, when one is present, also carries “As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.”

Those programs are not connected yet. The names are listed with placeholder URLs marked TODO. A missing affiliate link does not change the city rules above it.

The editorial policy is the rule for every new page: no source, no page, and no guessed fee.
