Tossguide is not a city website. Every disposal fact is tied to an official page, and a missing fact stays missing.

Editorial policy

These rules apply to every city page. A page that cannot meet them stays a draft and is not published.

  1. Every fact comes from the official city, county, or state source linked on the page.
  2. Every page shows a "Last verified" date. That date changes only after the source is read again.
  3. Never invent or estimate fees, schedules, limits, or hours. If the official page does not say it, the line reads "Not published by the city."
  4. Quote limits and preparation rules closely.
  5. Recheck every page at least every 12 months, and sooner when a source breaks, a published end date arrives, or a reader reports a change.
  6. Paid options come after the free official options.
  7. No page without a real source. The build rejects a published record with no sources or no last-verified date.
  8. No health or legal advice. For hazardous waste, link the official facility instructions.

Draft and needs-recheck records do not generate a public page. An empty template for a city that has not been researched is not allowed.
