About Tossguide

Tossguide is a reference for one narrow job: getting a bulky or hard-to-throw-away household item out of a US home. The first items are mattresses, couches, TVs and other e-waste, paint, batteries, old gasoline, and refrigerators.

A page is one city plus one item, such as mattress disposal in Columbus. The site adds about one of those pages at a time, after someone reads the official city, county, or state page and writes down only what it says.

Tossguide is an independent site. It is not a public works department, and the pages are not city notices. The government page linked in the sources box is the authority. If that page and this one disagree, believe the government page and report the change.

The site may later earn money from junk-removal and retail affiliate programs, and from display ads. Those links stay in the paid-options block. They do not change a fee, a limit, or a schedule. Read the editorial policy and the disclosure.
